Joseph Harvey, DPM, is passionately committed to an integrative approach to podiatry that balances the latest medical techniques with compassionate care.

Dr. Harvey has found that his engineering education synergizes with his Podiatric training. He is focused on providing evidence-based treatments that solve problems effectively and quickly. Dr. Harvey loves performing bunion surgery and is trained in the Lapilock and Lapiplasty systems, which provide for the correction of all aspects of any bunion deformity. He is also trained in minimally invasive bunion correction, an excellent option for quick return to activity with minimal pain for many patients.

Dr. Harvey has a passion for wound care and Diabetic limb salvage. He believes many patients with severe wounds and diabetic complications are given up on too soon, which results in unnecessary life-altering amputations. He has had great success treating these conditions utilizing a multi-disciplinary team-based approach, advanced tissue grafts, and surgical intervention when needed.

Justin Thompson, MD

As a native Texan, Dr. Thompson believes that there is a certain honor being a Texan and you must do your best to live up to the big state’s expectations. Following that ethos, Dr. Thompson graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School with distinction. Specializing in pain management, Dr. Thompson completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor University in Dallas. He further developed his expertise in pain management through his rigorous medical program at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Thompson is committed to helping his patients overcome chronic pain that is often debilitating and impacts every aspect of their life. As an interventional pain specialist, Dr. Thompson offers treatments that can treat the pain with highest levels of safety, efficiency, and innovation. Dr. Thompson often shares that, “As a pain doctor, my main mission is to restore function and get patients back to the being themselves again. Pain is different for everyone and there isn’t a one-size-fits all answer – it takes communication, commitment and change. My philosophy as a pain doctor is always to listen to the patient and then develop a treatment plan together with my patients.”

Jeffrey’s deep-rooted knowledge spans multiple medical specialties - including Podiatry, Wound Care, Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Family, and Vascular care. His operational leadership is defined by an integrated, data-driven approach: evaluating regional needs, launching scalable care models, and aligning clinical processes with patient-first outcomes. Under his guidance, AMMS is expanding its hybrid care model across North, Central, and South Texas.

Known for building long-term partnerships with physicians, senior living communities, and referral networks, Jeffrey also brings unmatched skill in brand positioning, community engagement, and digital growth strategies. Ruben Galvan, Jr. is a graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he earned both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing. He is a nationally board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS®), with advanced certifications in hormone therapy and hyperbaric medicine.

With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Galvan has cultivated a diverse clinical background, specializing in primary care, hormone optimization, medical weight loss, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, aesthetics, and sexual wellness for both men and women. His advanced wound care expertise includes the treatment and management of complex wounds, particularly diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, and other chronic wounds. He is well-versed in advanced wound healing technologies and protocols that support improved outcomes and prevent complications.

Mr. Galvan currently leads a thriving family practice focused on optimizing overall health and wellness. His approach centers on identifying and addressing root causes rather than just treating symptoms. He is BioTE® certified and trained in bioidentical hormone pellet therapy, offering individualized treatment plans to restore hormonal balance and improve quality of life.
